These terms are the agreement between you and Adrian Gonzalez Mujicafor using Limn — the website, the app, and the physical markers, called Panes. By using Limn, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use Limn.
Using Limn
Limn lets you find physical Panes placed in the world and log them. You agree to use Limn only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. We may add, move, change, or remove Panes and content at any time.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Limn. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Because you sign in with a code sent to your email, this includes keeping your email account secure. Give accurate information, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Finding Panes — real-world safety
Limn sends you to real places we do not control. You are responsible for your own safety and conduct in the physical world. When seeking a Pane, you agree to:
- obey all laws and respect private property — never trespass to reach a Pane;
- stay aware of your surroundings, traffic, terrain, and weather;
- not enter dangerous or restricted areas, and not put yourself or others at risk;
- not damage property or interfere with people or places.
Seeking out, traveling to, or scanning a Pane is done entirely at your own risk. Adrian Gonzalez Mujica is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to you, your property, or others arising from your travel to or interaction with any physical location or Pane.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- tamper with, move, deface, or destroy Panes;
- submit false or automated logs, or otherwise manipulate finder counts;
- scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer Limn or its content;
- access Pane data, accounts, or systems you are not authorized to use;
- use Limn to harass, harm, or violate the rights of others.
Content
The content within Limn is ours. If Limn later lets you submit your own content or place your own Panes, additional terms will apply at that time, and you will keep ownership of what you submit while granting us a license to host and display it to operate Limn. Anything you submit must not be unlawful, infringing, or harmful, and we may remove content that breaks these terms.
Intellectual property
Limn — including its name, design, lore, written world, software, and visual system — belongs to Adrian Gonzalez Mujica and is protected by intellectual property law. These terms do not give you any right to use the Limn brand or content except as needed to use the service normally.
Third-party services
Limn relies on third-party services such as hosting, authentication, and email delivery. We are not responsible for those services’ own actions or terms.
Disclaimers
Limn is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that Panes will always be present, reachable, or working, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adrian Gonzalez Mujicawill not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss or injury arising from your use of Limn or from seeking Panes in the physical world. Our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Adrian Gonzalez Mujica harmless from claims arising out of your use of Limn, anything you submit, or your conduct in seeking Panes, to the extent permitted by law.
Termination
You may stop using Limn at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or where needed to protect Limn and its users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will revise the “last updated” date above, and significant changes will be made clear within Limn. Continuing to use Limn after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you agree to that venue.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and Adrian Gonzalez Mujica regarding Limn.
